Celedonio Orlanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fidel Polentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Bertran in the 23rd minute of play forced Franklin's goalkeeper Carolo Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Isidro Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fitti Ferro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Bertran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcial Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fidel Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 41 minutes into the game, Franklin's Celedonio Orlanda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Polentzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 44 minutes, Arturo Pagomari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franklin and the Fitti Ferro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Arturo Pagomari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Enzo Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Orlanda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match Mariano Elivareo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Teyo skillfully saved the ball. Franklin's Celedonio Orlanda got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Leon Argina was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Isidro Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Teyo having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Fitti Ferro FC's Enzo Rios made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Teyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, Fitti Ferro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Orlanda came free, but Fidel Polentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Teyo having to interfere. Isidro Bertran struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Carolo Teyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fitti Ferro FC. Isidro Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Enzo Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
