Jacobo Bizen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Urbano Bembe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Elequemedo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mateo Elequemedo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Romeo Miliano shot from long distance in the 42nd minute, but Urbano Bembe was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 43rd minute Nicanor Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Ioritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes, Samuel Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pozuelos and the Udaquilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Udaquilla FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godfredo Isaio in the 49th minute. The corner ended in Godfredo Isaio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pozuelos's Rene Ioritz did a great save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Urbano Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Bizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Torres during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pozuelos's Astor Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
