Tomás Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo Peter charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Peter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severo Peter hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Octavio Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Hermon in the 60th minute of play forced Posadas FC's goalkeeper Moises Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Favila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes, Oscar Pasqual mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Posadas FC and the Tandil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavio Hotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gaston Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tandil's Gaston Sengrat got control of the ball when Prospero Procopio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavio Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Sengrat having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tandil's Inocencio Raphael got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Octavio Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tandil's Gaston Sengrat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Tandil from getting a goal against them. 100 minutes into the game, Octavio Hotz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Sengrat. Octavio Hotz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
