Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Mel started the match with the kick off. Iker Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Quintun having to interfere. After 13 played minutes God save the team got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Nicholas. God save the team's Alonzo Quintun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Romo in the 17th minute of play. Victoriano Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Jatsu in the 20th minute of play. Igor Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Quintun having to interfere. Club Atlético La Plata's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Jacobo Mambru scored to the left of an out of position Victoriano Larpe, making the score, 1-0. After some careless play in the God save the team defense, Iker Romo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alonzo Quintun. The God save the team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alonzo Quintun should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Jatsu was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, God save the team's Victoriano Jatsu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Larpe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Diego Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Larpe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Mel in the 61st minute of play forced God save the team's goalkeeper Alonzo Quintun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético La Plata's zone, Victoriano Jatsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Larpe came out of the goal and Victoriano Jatsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Edorta in the 64th minute of play forced Club Atlético La Plata's goalkeeper Victoriano Larpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Quintun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Romo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Alonzo Quintun made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Anacleto Nicholas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atlético La Plata's Anacleto Cutberto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Iker Romo came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alonzo Quintun could save by the left post. God save the team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Igor Mel scored to the left of an out of position Alonzo Quintun, making the score, 2-2. Iker Romo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonzo Quintun having to make a save. Alonzo Quintun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. God save the team's Diego Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victoriano Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Tercero's late challenge caught a God save the team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Tercero helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Club Atlético La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Tercero. In the 91st minute of the match God save the team got a corner. Club Atlético La Plata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeronimo Betadur ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jeronimo Betadur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victoriano Larpe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iker Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Quintun having to interfere.
