After having played for 5 minutes, Feliberto Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VM CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Macias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rene Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Macias in the 10th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Alejandro Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lértora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in VM CITY's zone, Salvador Fraco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Sauveur came out of the goal and Salvador Fraco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Cucao hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alejandro Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Sauveur having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Alejandro Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubaldo Sauveur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Remicio got free with Rene Fanuco in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, one of VM CITY:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VM CITY. VM CITY:s Ubaldo Sauveur showed great skill when he stopped Salvador Fraco:s penalty. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Feliberto Macias made the kick off in the second half. When Alejandro Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lértora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Furtado couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Maximo Cristos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lértora's Fernando Sasoin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Lértora's Fernando Sasoin got a free kick in the 58th minute. Alejandro Furtado struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ubaldo Sauveur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. If Alejandro Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Remicio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Remicio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, VM CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Remicio to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Gonsalvo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Fanuco. Lértora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubaldo Gonsalvo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Tomás Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute Tomás Remicio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ubaldo Gonsalvo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. After 86 played minutes VM CITY got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Gonsalvo. Salvador Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Sauveur having to interfere. If Oscar Tallia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Salvador Fraco came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lértora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Fraco couldn't finish the play. Lértora played a much better game than VM CITY and deserved their victory. The VM CITY players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
