Xenovezes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Santo Mitxel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santiago Nevada. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Ernesto Banegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Bakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Marciano Bakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ernesto Banegas made a huge save.
