Simbol's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Dr Tangalanga's Bruno Orlin got a free kick in the 8th minute. Dr Tangalanga's Roberto Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Bela in the 11th minute of play. Santiago Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Geleberto in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Seme during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Simbol getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jairo Seme hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Simbol's Roberto Romelio threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ramon Bela, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Bela in the 28th minute of play forced Dr Tangalanga's goalkeeper Roberto Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Bela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Romelio having to make a save. In the 34th minute, Leopoldo Gines had to leave the field with a concussion. Simbol's Jairo Seme got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Jairo Seme off the ground. After some careless play in the Simbol defense, Celedonio Gorbea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Nevada. The Simbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Nevada should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Gorbea was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Fernan Lesardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roberto Romelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simbol's Santiago Nevada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Simbol from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Simbol's goalkeeper Santiago Nevada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Gorbea. The crowd rose to their feet as Dr Tangalanga's Celedonio Gorbea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santiago Nevada. That made the score 1-2 after 66 minutes of play. Marciano Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes, Jimeno Restu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dr Tangalanga and the Simbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 84 minutes, Marciano Bakar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Bakar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ramon Bela fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simbol's protests and gave Ramon Bela a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Orlin's late challenge caught a Simbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Orlin helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Marciano Bakar put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Romelio. Roberto Romelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Bakar went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Dr Tangalanga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
