Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isaac Oxarra got the match started through his kick off. Simon Beat kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Delmar Bitxintxo's late challenge caught a Argüello's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Bitxintxo helped the player get up and apologised. Delmar Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gualterio Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Gergori having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Gualterio Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argüello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Cucao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Oxarra in the 17th minute of play forced Ciénaga's goalkeeper Arnaldo Gergori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Roberto Matteo managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Ciénaga's Severiano Etxeberri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Argüello booed when Ciénaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Cucao in the 24th minute of play forced Ciénaga's goalkeeper Arnaldo Gergori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciénaga's Guido Txatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Argüello's zone, Guido Txatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Matteo came out of the goal and Guido Txatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Oxarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Gergori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Etxeberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Argüello's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Txatxu came free, but Roberto Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ciénaga's zone, Isaac Oxarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Gergori came out of the goal and Isaac Oxarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Txatxu made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Argüello got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Oxarra. In the 60th minute, Guido Txatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciénaga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gualterio Cucao was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Arnaldo Gergori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Oxarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Etxeberri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Guido Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciénaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Txatxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Matteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Etxeberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isaac Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ciénaga getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Anastasio Sagrario hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Salvador Salvidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Txatxu in the 88th minute of the match. Severiano Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Roberto Matteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Ciénaga's Severiano Etxeberri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Matteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ciénaga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
