They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Ado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes River Plate. got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Neto. River Plate.'s Freddy Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Taurino in the 53rd minute of play. Fidel Taurino struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Freddy Cordarin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASO F.C. After a rather tough play, River Plate.'s Segundo Neto got a free kick in the 56th minute. Freddy Cordarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee ignored ASO F.C's protests and gave Eliseo Chus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Eliseo Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Gelmiro having to interfere. Jonathan Ado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River Plate.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Ado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, River Plate.'s Severiano Lia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Gelmiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Ado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian Gelmiro. That made the score 0-2 in the 87 minute of play. ASO F.C's Julian Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Ado in the 90th minute of play. If Jonathan Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ado might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julian Gelmiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Ado ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to River Plate. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Arsenio Cordarryl hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded River Plate. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ASO F.C.
