After 17 played minutes Corazuli got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Quintana. Claudio Dimas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucio Tajo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Natalio Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Venceslao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Gaur in the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Lucio Tajo made the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the game, Corazuli's Natalio Cefero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Tajo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to La Nueva 12 FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aureliano Leocadio hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Corazuli's Arnulfo Patrido broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. La Nueva 12 FC's Claudio Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Tajo in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in La Nueva 12 FC's zone, Lucio Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Dimas came out of the goal and Lucio Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Lucio Tajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Min's late challenge caught a La Nueva 12 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Min helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Nueva 12 FC booed when Corazuli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Min didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, La Nueva 12 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Tajo came free, but Claudio Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corazuli's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
