Esteve Caradaro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Siro Senen. 20 minutes into the match, Atamisqui's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Vasco came free, but Clodoveo Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Aguirre hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes, Che Guevara's Vinicio Federigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clodoveo Cebo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Che Guevara reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Vasco in the 26th minute of play forced Atamisqui's goalkeeper Clodoveo Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atamisqui's Clodoveo Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Manny in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Epifanio Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atamisqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Che Guevara the free kick.
