Desiderio Tancredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Gustau having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Melquiades Henric cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Moises Dolcet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dennehy AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Diego Aimar 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Moises Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Larra, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Dennehy AFC's Melquiades Henric in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Moises Dolcet guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Armando Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Aimar made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Dennehy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Larra to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Larra couldn't finish the play. Serafin Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Tancredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Aimar might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Gustau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Aimar ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafin Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Aimar in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pinamar's zone, Armando Larra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Dolcet came out of the goal and Armando Larra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Armando Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennehy AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
