A hard shot by Abelardo Osoro from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Anacleto Criston's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Anacleto Criston was a little too slow when Siro Maju got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Alpargata F.C.'s Braulio Enaut in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nunez Silviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Haimar in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Saverio Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Domingos Emesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Fernando Futbol and the Alpargata F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alpargata F.C. booed when San Fernando Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Niceto Haimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nunez Silviano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Pedro Markel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Maju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Anacleto Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Braulio Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpargata F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Enaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute of the match Geronimo Sein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anacleto Criston skillfully saved the ball. San Fernando Futbol's Nunez Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Haimar in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Enaut in the 47th minute of play forced San Fernando Futbol's goalkeeper Nunez Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Haimar to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, San Fernando Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Enaut came free, but Nunez Silviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Silviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Haimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Berasko might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anacleto Criston. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Berasko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpargata F.C.'s goalkeeper Anacleto Criston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Camilo Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Alpargata F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Dabi. Geronimo Sein was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Braulio Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Silviano having to interfere. In the 70th minute, San Fernando Futbol's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Braulio Enaut fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Saverio Igon fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Fernando Futbol's protests and gave Saverio Igon a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the San Fernando Futbol defense, Braulio Enaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Silviano. The San Fernando Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Silviano should have stopped the shot.
