The supporters of Roman FC booed when Cuipán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Costante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Maties read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Dalmacio Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bonifacio Mendiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Maties was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruben Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Costante in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Roman FC's Paulino Cibran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Maties made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Gabriel Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Javiero's late challenge caught a Roman FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Javiero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Cuipán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Javiero to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Maties having to interfere. Ruben Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Cibran in the 48th minute of play. The Cuipán players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Roman FC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Cibran to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulino Cibran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Maties having to make a save. In the 56th minute, Roman FC's Igor Telesforo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruben Maties. Ruben Maties yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 62nd minute, Paulino Cibran fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 64th match minute, Roman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Maties having to interfere. A collision led to Cuipán getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dalmacio Haitz hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Cuipán's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Cibran came free, but Ruben Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Cuipán's Ruben Maties got control of the ball when Gabriel Costante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cuipán's Ruben Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Cibran in the 76th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Paulino Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Maties saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Javiero kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Gabriel Costante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Maties was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 96th minute, Paulino Cibran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
