After having played for 10 minutes, Desiderio Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. hicken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Chinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Asur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Lauro made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, hicken's Desiderio Chinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Lauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melquiades Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Delmar Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Maco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Xacintu couldn't finish the play. If Delmar Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maco's Arnaldo Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Chinto in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Desiderio Chinto made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Lauro. Maco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, hicken's Justino Quiroga got a free kick in the 36th minute. hicken's Aldo Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Inko in the 41st minute of play. Delmar Xacintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Teofilio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Xacintu ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Xacintu to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Alfredo Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. hicken's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Lauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Delmar Xacintu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aldo Teofilio, passed just outside the right post. 58 minutes into the game, Delmar Xacintu lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Aldo Teofilio. The supporters of Maco booed when hicken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Lauro having to interfere. If Alfredo Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Alfredo Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desiderio Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Lauro having to interfere. 3-2 became the score in the 79th minute when Delmar Xacintu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alfredo Asur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Desiderio Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. hicken's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Chinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Lauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Delmar Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, hicken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Curcio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in hicken's zone, Melquiades Inko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Teofilio came out of the goal and Melquiades Inko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
