Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celedonio Cesario took the kick off in the first half of the match. Albino Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Domeka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Saturnin having to interfere. Cleto Valerio's late challenge caught a Manantiales AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Valerio helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Vergara got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Valerio. Gualterio Domeka might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Saturnin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Domeka ran back to his position shaking his head. Filiberto Dodorol hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Celedonio Cesario rounded Manantiales AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 22 played minutes Manantiales AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Dodorol. Tadeo Quico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apolo Quirce. Manantiales AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vergara's Cleto Valerio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Adolfo Constancio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albino Saturnin skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Domeka was the one to do the kick off. If Celedonio Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Celedonio Cesario made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Quirce. Manantiales AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Celedonio Cesario scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Quirce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosme Escobar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Albino Saturnin made a huge save. When Cosme Escobar came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Manantiales AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Escobar couldn't finish the play. Albino Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Domeka in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Arturo Hegoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eusebio Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gualterio Domeka came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Manantiales AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Domeka couldn't finish the play. Cosme Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Albino Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Vergara's Albino Saturnin got control of the ball when Cosme Escobar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Roberto Iigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vergara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manantiales AFC the free kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vergara fans cheered their team off the field, for while Manantiales AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
