The referee showed Isidoro Naelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 6 minutes into the game, one of Chacho F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Genaro Erramu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Ciriaco Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Bingen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Rosio in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Roberto Aznar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristobal Tavio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Chacho F.C. booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chacho F.C.'s Ermegildo Gabino got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chacho F.C.'s Denis Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Rosio in the 34th minute of play. Ermegildo Gabino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristobal Tavio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermegildo Gabino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Cristobal Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Gabino in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Tigre's goalkeeper Cristobal Tavio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Acevedo. If Bruno Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Chacho F.C.'s Ermegildo Gabino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciriaco Bingen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amador Rosio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Kismi having to make a save. After 62 played minutes Chacho F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Bernat. When Severiano Bernat fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacho F.C.'s protests and gave Severiano Bernat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Severiano Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ermegildo Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Chacho F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Gabino couldn't finish the play. When Amador Rosio came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Tigre fans jumped to their feet. Tigre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacho F.C. the free kick. Humberto Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cristobal Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chacho F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tigre for a fine match.
