Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ampallo FC's Edgardo Belasko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaspar Estefan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Santo Machado sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Estefan was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Camilo Cilio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camilo Cilio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 13th minute, Edgardo Belasko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Monte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Santo Machado hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Gaspar Estefan was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Camilo Cilio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camilo Cilio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Gilberto Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Estefan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Machado in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Belasko in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Monte saved Centenario AFC from getting behind. Edgardo Belasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Silvestre Afonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Honorio Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Belasko struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Gilberto Monte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampallo FC. 46 minutes into the match, Edgardo Belasko notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Centenario AFC's Gilberto Monte. Gilberto Monte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

After a defensive mix-up in Centenario AFC's zone, Edgardo Belasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Monte came out of the goal and Edgardo Belasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Monte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Belasko in the 57th minute. Ampallo FC's Salvador Cerilo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gilberto Monte but with some difficulty. Braulio Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gilberto Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Edgardo Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampallo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Salvador Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match Rolando Lekubegi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Estefan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Salvador Cerilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampallo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centenario AFC the free kick. Rolando Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Estefan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. When Braulio Xacintu fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ampallo FC's protests and gave Braulio Xacintu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ampallo FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Braulio Xacintu hit a great ball. Gaspar Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Machado in the 76th minute of play. Edgardo Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Monte having to interfere. Silvestre Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Belasko scored 2-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Monte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Edgardo Belasko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Gilberto Monte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Edgardo Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ampallo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Belasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Monte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ampallo FC's Braulio Xacintu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ampallo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Centenario AFC throughout the match.
