Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Iraunkor started the match with the kick off. Ruperto Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Pabla having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes De Bs As's Julio Chap got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Ruperto Martino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Beltran in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Pabla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Narciso Iraunkor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. RACING FC's Teobaldo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Iraunkor in the 25th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Estudiantes De Bs As's Narciso Iraunkor in the 28th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Teobaldo Shantala was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for RACING FC through an amazing save. Narciso Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Shantala having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, RACING FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Shantala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Mederi. After having played for 39 minutes, Ruperto Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Pabla having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes De Bs As's Lino Corderall got a free kick in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Narciso Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Shantala having to interfere. After 61 minutes RACING FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hernan Mateo who took care of the corner kick. In the 66thth minute of the game Rogelio Beltran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes De Bs As's Ciriaco Pabla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruperto Martino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Pabla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When Ruperto Martino came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the RACING FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Martino couldn't finish the play. Rogelio Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ciriaco Pabla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the RACING FC defense, Artemio Mederi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teobaldo Shantala. The RACING FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobaldo Shantala should have stopped the shot. Artemio Mederi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Teobaldo Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Iraunkor in the 86th minute of the match. Gaudencio Calisto hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Ruperto Martino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciriaco Pabla. Ruperto Martino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
