Rene Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Venerando in the 4th minute of the match. If Eloy Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anier Abarca in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Vedillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Venerando came free, but Rene Vedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eloy Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Abarca in the 18th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Eleuterio Karmel in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Liverpool FC's Rene Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Venerando in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Eloy Venerando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Vedillo came out of the goal and Eloy Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Anier Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Gallinero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Abarca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 56th minute of the match, Eloy Venerando tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rene Vedillo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 64 minutes, Anier Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Gallinero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Abarca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, El Gallinero FC's Eloy Venerando dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Aldo Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Liverpool FC's Rene Vedillo got control of the ball when Anier Abarca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Abarca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rene Vedillo made a huge save. Eloy Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rene Vedillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Abarca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Rene Vedillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 90 minutes, Anier Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Gallinero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Abarca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Abarca got free with Rene Vedillo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
