Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristian Carlomagno got the match started through his kick off. Victorio Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Octavio Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Mentira's zone, Leon Chumo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Guilabertus came out of the goal and Leon Chumo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Leon Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Guilabertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Carlomagno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tomás Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Victorio Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acevedo's Tomás Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Carlomagno in the 23rd minute of play. Silvano Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Octavio Guilabertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Tebaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Tebaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Acevedo booed when La Mentira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Tebaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Loreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Octavio Guilabertus. La Mentira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, La Mentira's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Felipo came free, but Octavio Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Galtero hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cesar Chuse didn't quite understand what happened when in the 45 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Felipo in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Guilabertus saved La Mentira from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, La Mentira's goalkeeper Octavio Guilabertus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Chumo. Leon Chumo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Victorio Felipo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Octavio Guilabertus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 60 played minutes Acevedo got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Hever. Leonides Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tomás Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Acevedo's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Hitz came free, but Tomás Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Carlomagno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Gentza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Acevedo's Leon Chumo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Acevedo's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Hitz came free, but Tomás Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonides Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Chumo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Leonides Hitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Acevedo's Tomás Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Carlomagno in the 81st minute of play. Leonides Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tomás Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Octavio Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Guilabertus having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Leonides Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Mentira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Hitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
