In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Gallinero FC's goalkeeper Matias Fernendo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Venerando in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, one of Acevedo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Acevedo. 31 minutes into the game, Narciso Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acevedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Gallinero FC the free kick. Narciso Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Eloy Venerando struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tomás Gentza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Gallinero FC. 38 minutes into the game, Leon Chumo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Matias Fernendo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pablo Goyo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Venerando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The penalty shot was made by Ermegildo Loreto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Gallinero FC's Matias Fernendo. 2-2. Leon Chumo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Fernendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Gallinero FC's Ariel Millrick got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
