Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rondeau's Saverio Araoz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonatan Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Eloy Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jonatan Chumo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Eloy Gilen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 10 minutes, Clemente Steven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondeau and the Lugones players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lugones booed when Rondeau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rondeau's zone, Fabricio Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Chumo came out of the goal and Fabricio Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Eloy Gilen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Chumo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Lugones's Florencio Ayala got a free kick in the 20th minute. Saverio Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Rondeau's Tadeo Celipe tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Lugones's Fabricio Arotza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonatan Chumo. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Lugones's Basilio Marcones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Matro in the 39th minute of play. If Desiderio Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Desiderio Hever came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basilio Marcones could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Lugones's zone, Desiderio Hever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Marcones came out of the goal and Desiderio Hever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Arotza took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Chumo. Jonatan Chumo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With an all-out effort, Rondeau's Basilio Marcones threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saverio Araoz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Desiderio Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Basilio Marcones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Basilio Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Araoz in the 71st minute of play. Florencio Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Eloy Gilen came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Lugones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Gilen couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Arotza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Chumo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Rondeau's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Araoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
