Ariel Mikeldi charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Mikeldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Jose Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Vespucio FC's Gavino Ladio threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niceto Guillem, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Eliu got free with Gavino Ladio in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Ulizes in the 20th minute of play forced Vespucio FC's goalkeeper Teo Oro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Carolo Ulizes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Oro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Oro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Ulizes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Vespucio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Guillem to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Berenguer in the 26th minute of play forced Vespucio FC's goalkeeper Teo Oro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Ulizes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Oro having to interfere. Vespucio FC's Florentino Eliu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, Pavón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Ixaka to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carolo Ulizes made a kick off. Teo Oro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Ulizes in the 56th minute of the match. Mario Noe struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gavino Ladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vespucio FC. After 94 minutes, Francisco Quiroga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pavón and the Vespucio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chants of Pavón echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Vespucio FC had held the ball for most of the match.
