With his leg Damian Mikolas managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Huracan's Celedonio Senin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Huracan getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lucas Roldanillo hit a great ball. After 24 minutes, Aristides Llorienzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guajal FC and the Huracan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Guajal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. The Huracan fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Huracan's Celedonio Senin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Damian Mikolas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sergio Larpe. Hipolito Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Ignatius in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Ramon Ignatius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hipolito Ekaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 35 minutes, Erasmo Ferdinand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huracan and the Guajal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erasmo Ferdinand hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play Huracan's Erasmo Ferdinand was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Guajal FC's Iker Urritz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Lucas Roldanillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damian Mikolas. Guajal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ramon Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Caradaro struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Hipolito Ekaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guajal FC. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huracan's goalkeeper Hipolito Ekaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Esteve Herensuge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huracan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guajal FC the free kick. Esteve Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ramon Ignatius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guajal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Ignatius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Ekaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
