In the 19th minute Lino Oxarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Seguinus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Oxarra went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Aldao AFC's Lino Oxarra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Seguinus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aldao AFC's goalkeeper Uriel Tello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Artemio Pacho fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aldao AFC's protests and gave Artemio Pacho a yellow card for diving instead. 38 minutes into the game, one of Aldao AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Uriel Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aldao AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Uriel Tello had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Geronimo Iratxo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Pero to strike the kick off in the second half. Uriel Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
