Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rosendo Navarro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Rosendo Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Correa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Santos hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Cabituyo AFC's Melchor Beltza got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Correa's zone, Melchor Beltza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Mattin came out of the goal and Melchor Beltza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebio Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rolando Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Rosendo Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Correa's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Navarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Veremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenio Aureo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Veremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Siro Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Navarro in the 27th minute of play. Arsenio Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Veremundo having to interfere. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arsenio Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Veremundo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Beltza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Beltza in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Mattin saved Deportivo Correa from getting behind. Arsenio Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Veremundo having to interfere. Siro Veremundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Navarro went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Melchor Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Beltza in the 69th minute of play forced Deportivo Correa's goalkeeper Rolando Mattin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Aureo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Veremundo having to make a save. Rosendo Navarro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Siro Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Correa. Melchor Beltza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rolando Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
