After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Zeledon Lando managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarB FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Lando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Berriotxoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute Baltasar Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Lando was the one to do the kick off. Genaro Berriotxoa made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Baltasar Peter sent off a good shot on target. Genaro Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Lando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Christian Martino came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Olascoaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Martino couldn't finish the play. Christian Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Christian Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Marques having to interfere. Christian Martino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes, Benicio Koldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olascoaga and the MarB FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MarB FC booed when Olascoaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Gregorio Erruki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Berriotxoa skillfully saved the ball. Baltasar Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baltasar Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
