When Domingos Todor fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pedernal AFC's protests and gave Domingos Todor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pedernal AFC's Domingos Todor got a free kick in the 4th minute. Justo Ostots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Claude made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Rafel in the 11th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gasoducto FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nemesio Efraim was slow to take the kick. During this time Pedernal AFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pedernal AFC's corner Nemesio Efraim fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosendo Claude quite easily take care of the ball. If Justo Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22ndth minute of the game Justo Ostots who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedernal AFC's Eulalio Rocendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Justo Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute of the match Amancio Reno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Rocendo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gualterio Rozarius scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eulalio Rocendo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gualterio Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Rocendo having to interfere. David Peruxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Justo Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gasoducto FC booed when Pedernal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justo Ostots was the one to do the kick off. Gualterio Rozariuss short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Eulalio Rocendo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 58 minutes into the match, Gasoducto FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Peruxu came free, but Rosendo Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Amancio Reno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Ostots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Rocendo having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Gualterio Rozarius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedernal AFC's David Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Generoso Eufemio charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Eufemio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Pedernal AFC's Nemesio Efraim tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gasoducto FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Claude, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Generoso Eufemio came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Gasoducto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Eufemio couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pedernal AFC's zone, Justo Ostots stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Rocendo came out of the goal and Justo Ostots tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pedernal AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Aurelio Beturian hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Rafel during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Pedernal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Rafel to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Gasoducto FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pedernal AFC throughout the match.
