But to his dismay, Celso Frantzes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After the first half Varvarco AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Herensuge made a kick off. Aureliano Raitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Michael having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Bernabe Oskitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Varvarco AFC's Gustavo Baumer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for boca juniors. Felipe Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eriberto Michael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, boca juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Raitin came free, but Eriberto Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Erauso during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in boca juniors reached it. Nestor Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nestor Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot. boca juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Herensuge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Restu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Celso Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Varvarco AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
