The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santo Txanton struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Teodosio Urdin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sohoku F.C.. Patricio Oliveiro was a little too slow when Paolo Balesio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Calixto during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sohoku F.C.'s Norberto Calixto got a free kick in the 13th minute. Paolo Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Patricio Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Fabian Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tu Hermana F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Gabrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Paolo Balesio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patricio Oliveiro. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 25th minute, Fabian Gabrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Patricio Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cleto Lugo scored 2-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosio Urdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 played minutes Sohoku F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Calixto. Santo Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Tu Hermana F.C.'s Paolo Balesio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Oliveiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Lugo got free with Teodosio Urdin in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Feliberto Reno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the game, Cleto Lugo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Teodosio Urdin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleto Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Urdin having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Hermengildo Mikelats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sohoku F.C. and the Tu Hermana F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sohoku F.C.'s Hermengildo Mikelats got a free kick in the 74th minute. Sixto Azeari was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paolo Balesio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Oliveiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Sohoku F.C. booed when Tu Hermana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Miro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Tu Hermana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santo Txanton came free, but Teodosio Urdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sohoku F.C.'s zone, Fabian Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Oliveiro came out of the goal and Fabian Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
