The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Sarracino helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes CICLON F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Sarracino. Alejandro Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes of play CICLON F.C.'s Sergio Sarracino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Edgard Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rioja having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, METEGOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Roldan to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Hilario Miliano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and METEGOL's Federico Pes didn't even have to move. Joaquin Blanco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Rioja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Alejandro Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Atauri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amadeo Rioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Atauri in the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Alejandro Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CICLON F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Salvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edgard Atauri came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the METEGOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Atauri couldn't finish the play. After having played for 64 minutes, Alejandro Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CICLON F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Salvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alejandro Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Pes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Salvino in the 72nd minute. Federico Pes made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Alejandro Salvino sent off a good shot on target. Fernan Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Federico Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. METEGOL's Edgard Atauri got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Blanco in the 81st minute of play forced CICLON F.C.'s goalkeeper Amadeo Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CICLON F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fernan Herrera hit a great ball. Edgard Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
