The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Odol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haroldo Nerio. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Cordarius in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Polo saved SOLMOS FOOTBALL CLUB from getting behind. Haroldo Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Odol in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Isaias Cordarius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Polo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Isaias Cordarius put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Polo. In the 25th minute, Melchor Gaitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Cordarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Matias Osmundo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Matias Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Matias Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOLMOS FOOTBALL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Odol in the 46th minute of play forced Caballito FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Luis Odol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOLMOS FOOTBALL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Tavio to make the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caballito FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Nerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Caballito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Osmundo came free, but Haroldo Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Matias Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOLMOS FOOTBALL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Osmundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Odol in the 70th minute of the match. Matias Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Nerio having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Caballito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Osmundo came free, but Haroldo Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Tavio got free with Nicolas Polo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Osmundo in the 84th minute of play. When Diego Tavio came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Caballito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Tavio couldn't finish the play. Caballito FC's Haroldo Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Odol in the 91st minute of play. Maximiliano Araoz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Haroldo Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Osmundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Melchor Gaitano fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOLMOS FOOTBALL CLUB's protests and gave Melchor Gaitano a yellow card for diving instead. Melchor Gaitano hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
