The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gregorio Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Leoncio in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Chorache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, El Modelo F.C's Ismael Leoncio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregorio Chorache made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Guillermo Ederono came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Beboso's Rafael Iaki. But to his dismay, Rafael Iaki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gaspar Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arturo Senen came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the El Modelo F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Senen couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Leoncio in the 32nd minute of the match. If Ismael Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Arturo Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportivo Beboso's Raul Bembe got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Abeita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gregorio Chorache. Deportivo Beboso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Arturo Senen made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, El Modelo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Bembe came free, but Guillermo Ederono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Ederono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 58th minute, Rafael Iaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 60th minute of the match Rafael Iaki completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rafael Iaki a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rafael Iaki hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Ismael Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Senen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of El Modelo F.C booed when Deportivo Beboso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Bembe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Arturo Senen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Beboso's Gregorio Chorache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
