Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Justo Sindo got the match started through his kick off. Guillermo Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Costante got free with Edgard Manex in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Costante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Edgard Manex made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Candelarias AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Manex had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Costante. Eustacio Salomon's late challenge caught a El Negro F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Salomon helped the player get up and apologised. Eustacio Salomon hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Mariano Petrigai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorio Aznar. El Negro F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Petrigai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 27 minutes of play, Candelarias AFC's Mariano Petrigai made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorio Aznar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Guillermo Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Sindo in the 38th minute of play forced Candelarias AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mariano Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Guillermo Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelarias AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Napier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Guillermo Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Napier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ruperto Oliviero fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelarias AFC's protests and gave Ruperto Oliviero a yellow card for diving instead. Ruperto Oliviero hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Justo Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Manex having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Costante in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Manex prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justo Sindo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Edgard Manex didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Negro F.C.. Guillermo Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Aznar having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Candelarias AFC's Guillermo Napier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Honorio Aznar. Honorio Aznar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 75th match minute, Candelarias AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Telmo to maneuver through the defense. During the 76th minute of the match Ruperto Oliviero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ruperto Oliviero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ruperto Oliviero hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Victor Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Candelarias AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Candelarias AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
