Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Angelino Eduino kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Maidana during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of C.A. Chanchin booed when Deportivo Resaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Aurelio Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ismael Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Angelino Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Chanchin's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Eduino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Tabb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Deportivo Resaca's Fernando Truylos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ismael Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 33rd minute, Eustaquio Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Anselmo Chan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Resaca's protests and gave Anselmo Chan a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelio Froila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Tabb having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Truylos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes C.A. Chanchin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo Txeru who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Deportivo Resaca's Paulo Txeru to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Honesto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Oliveiro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Everardo Oliveiro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Fernando Truylos struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Enrique Honesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Resaca. Angelino Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of C.A. Chanchin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Resaca:s goal. In the 83rd minute of the game, Paulo Txeru landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Aurelio Froila charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Froila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Eustaquio Sanson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Resaca's protests and gave Eustaquio Sanson a yellow card for diving instead. Eustaquio Sanson hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Deportivo Resaca's Ismael Tabb got control of the ball when Aurelio Froila tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Resaca had won after a very even match.
