Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Matias Nicholas made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Fernando Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Resaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Truylos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Resaca's Javier Hanot pulled a muscle in his leg after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Artemio Elodio fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menucos FC's protests and gave Artemio Elodio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deportivo Resaca booed when Menucos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Resaca's goalkeeper Ismael Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deportivo Resaca's Fernando Truylos got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Deportivo Resaca's Matias Nicholas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florencio Estavan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menucos FC's goalkeeper Florencio Estavan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Deportivo Resaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Txeru to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Omar Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menucos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Demario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Tabb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Osorio scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Tabb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florencio Estavan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Truylos went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Omar Demario notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Deportivo Resaca's Ismael Tabb. Ismael Tabb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Demario made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Deportivo Resaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Truylos to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Resaca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo Onofre was slow to take the kick. During this time Menucos FC's players had a chance to rest. Menucos FC's Anselmo Onofre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Tabb in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Menucos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anselmo Onofre in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Florencio Tanio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ismael Tabb quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Omar Demario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Tabb having to interfere. Ismael Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Omar Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Tabb having to interfere. A collision led to Menucos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Artemio Elodio hit a great ball. Fernando Truylos scored 2-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florencio Estavan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Deportivo Resaca's Fernando Truylos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Fernando Truylos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
