Gaudencio Oihan's late challenge caught a A. F. el Potrerillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Oihan helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Hernández AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Oihan. Domingo Galsino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Inko in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Jonatan Soter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Galsino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timoteo Ortle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Hernández AFC's Romulo Inko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Galsino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, A. F. el Potrerillo's Arsenio Hegoi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Timoteo Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Galsino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Galsino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Ortle in the 38th minute of the match. Romulo Inko struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Domingo Galsino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hernández AFC. When Timoteo Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Hernández AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Ortle couldn't finish the play. Timoteo Ortle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Domingo Galsino made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timoteo Ortle was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hernández AFC's zone, Adan Sal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Naldo came out of the goal and Adan Sal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Gaitano got free with Leon Naldo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Domingo Galsino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Inko might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Galsino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Inko ran back to his position shaking his head. Evelio Loren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 64th playminute. A collision led to A. F. el Potrerillo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Teo Mederi hit a great ball. Evelio Loren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Leon Naldo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leon Naldo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonatan Soter. Evelio Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Naldo having to interfere. Domingo Galsino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Ortle in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Romulo Inko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Domingo Galsino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the A. F. el Potrerillo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hernández AFC.
