In the 8thth minute of the game Erasmo Pasqual who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fumata F.C.'s Timoteo Procopio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute Erasmo Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anier Benvide fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fumata F.C.'s protests and gave Anier Benvide a yellow card for diving instead. Anier Benvide hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Marcelo Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Timoteo Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fumata F.C.'s Israel Senon got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Marcelo Bartolome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fumata F.C.'s Timoteo Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Pasqual in the 26th minute of play. Anier Benvide kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Erasmo Pasqual recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vinicio Abel fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Patria Grande's protests and gave Vinicio Abel a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Deportivo Patria Grande got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Abel. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Bartolome was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Deportivo Patria Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Senon came free, but Igor Lluciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Pasqual got free with Timoteo Procopio in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Atilano Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Eloy Truylos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Erasmo Pasqual came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Deportivo Patria Grande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Pasqual couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Pasqual came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Timoteo Procopio could save by the left post. Pedro Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Timoteo Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Feo in the 87th minute of the match. Erasmo Pasqual recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Feo in the 90th minute of play forced Fumata F.C.'s goalkeeper Timoteo Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Senon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Lluciano having to make a save.
