Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hector Dei started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Tinogasta FC defense, Benjamin Poncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moises Eutropio. The Tinogasta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moises Eutropio should have stopped the shot. Benedicto Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Eutropio having to interfere. Mercedes FC's Benedicto Baristo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Eutropio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Poncio in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Benjamin Poncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Benicio Etxatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Benedicto Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Mercedes FC's Benjamin Poncio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moises Eutropio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Benedicto Baristo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benicio Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Poncio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Moises Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Etxatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Larpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Hector Dei put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Amado Larpe. Moises Eutropio made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Benedicto Baristo sent off a good shot on target. If Benicio Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tinogasta FC's zone, Benjamin Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Eutropio came out of the goal and Benjamin Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Procopio charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Procopio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Mercedes FC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Procopio. In the 86thth minute of the game Benicio Etxatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mercedes FC's Amado Larpe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amado Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benicio Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mercedes FC's Cecilio Roderigo got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mercedes FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
