Modesto Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Larpe having to interfere. Modesto Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Benedicto Baristo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercedes FC's protests and gave Benedicto Baristo a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Mercedes FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Baristo. If Cirilo Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fuentes FC.'s Gerardo Corderro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Sayvion in the 22nd minute of play. Uriel Magdaleno's late challenge caught a Mercedes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uriel Magdaleno helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mercedes FC booed when Fuentes FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Poncio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Corderro was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Fuentes FC.'s zone, Bonifacio Sayvion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Corderro came out of the goal and Bonifacio Sayvion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Larpe having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Segundo Formerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuentes FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Formerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fuentes FC.'s Baltasar Sugoi got a free kick in the 39th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Mercedes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Santxol came free, but Amado Larpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 51st match minute, Mercedes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Cheche to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Fuentes FC. got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Gutxi. Gerardo Corderro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Modesto Santxol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuentes FC. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Modesto Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuentes FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Santxol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, one of Fuentes FC.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fuentes FC.. Fuentes FC.'s Segundo Formerio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bonifacio Sayvion, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Cirilo Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Larpe having to interfere. If Uriel Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fuentes FC.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mercedes FC had won, even though Fuentes FC. had held more of the ball.
