The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Maurino got free with Adan Charro in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquilino Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Olaen's Simon Cilio managed to work through El Huracan's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Simon Cilio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Maurino made a kick off. After 56 minutes of play Olaen's Casimiro Atarrabi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Olaen's Casimiro Atarrabi got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Simon Cilio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Simon Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Huracan getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Teofilo Silbestre hit a great ball. If Lázaro Maurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
