The referee ignored Leones AFC's protests and gave Moises Deunoro a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. Bernardo Pelayo came out of the goal and Jeronimo Aztore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efrain Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Leones AFC's Moises Deunoro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 21st minute Mauro Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Joey was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The long shot by Moises Deunoro in the 24th minute really tested Bernardo Pelayo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bernardo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Llope in the 26th minute of play. Mauro Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bernardo Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Llope stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danilo Galoer charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Galoer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Leones AFC's Moises Deunoro got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jeronimo Aztore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauro Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bernardo Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes, Hipolito Jakue mouthed his way into the referee's book.
