Baldomiro Crescencio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ermegildo Poz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Quilino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Ermegildo Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Clodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Pedro Clodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Quilino having to interfere. Pedro Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Clodio in the 46th minute of play. The Leones AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mercedes were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Poz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Mercedes's Pedro Clodio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Ermegildo Poz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luciano Gil hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Pedro Clodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Quilino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Clodio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute, Pedro Clodio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ermegildo Quilino. The goal made the score 0-3. Ermegildo Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Quilino having to interfere. Pedro Clodio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermegildo Quilino having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Mercedes's Igor Frascuelo got a free kick in the 96th minute.
