The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Angel Lorencio fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 11 Troncos Entusiastas's protests and gave Angel Lorencio a yellow card for diving instead. During the 11th minute of the match Angel Lorencio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angel Lorencio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 12 played minutes 11 Troncos Entusiastas got a freekick which was hit by Angel Lorencio. 12 minutes into the match, Animalandia's Paulo Rozarius broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 16th minute, Arturo Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, 11 Troncos Entusiastas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Samuel Omero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eleuterio Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Samuel Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Animalandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Omero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Eleuterio Txatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Animalandia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Arturo Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Eleazar to strike the kick off in the second half. Modesto Idacio was a little too slow when Eusebio Eleazar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. Fernan Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Samuel Omero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Froylan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, 11 Troncos Entusiastas's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Txatxu came free, but Fernan Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Txatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Froylan having to interfere. Fernan Froylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Omero in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Samuel Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 Troncos Entusiastas's Fernan Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Omero in the 83rd minute of play. Celso Abascal was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Samuel Omero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernan Froylan having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Harkaitz during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 95 minutes into the game, one of 11 Troncos Entusiastas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eleuterio Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Animalandia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of 11 Troncos Entusiastas for a fine match.
