The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Saturnino Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Remigio got free with Dante Sol in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute of the match, Damian Horado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Sol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ricardo Remigio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bartolo Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Deportivo Alsina getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Eloy Oroitz hit a great ball. Saturnino Tajo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Blasi during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Javier Blasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jardón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Damian Horado scored to the left of an out of position Dante Sol, making the score, 1-0. Dante Sol made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ricardo Remigio sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Horado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ricardo Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Ricardo Remigio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Sol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Damian Horado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Sol having to make a save. If Bartolo Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mario Guifre fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Alsina's protests and gave Mario Guifre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Deportivo Alsina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Guifre to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Gerazan hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bartolo Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Cordario having to interfere. The supporters of Jardón booed when Deportivo Alsina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jardón's zone, Damian Horado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Sol came out of the goal and Damian Horado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, one of Deportivo Alsina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Alsina. Bartolo Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ricardo Remigio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Alsina's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Remigio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Sol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Alsina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
