Fausto Tabb kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Aguilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Peruanton came free, but Timoteo Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Donato Silviano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguilar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Aguilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Peruanton came free, but Timoteo Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Timoteo Tolino managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Coghlan FC's Rene Claris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Abel Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Peruanton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Coghlan FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Peruanton in the 28th minute of play forced Aguilar FC's goalkeeper Timoteo Tolino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Timoteo Tolino made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Abel Ciceron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Eguzki was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Teobaldo Osoitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Omar Eguzki. Coghlan FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Elpidio Urre fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coghlan FC's protests and gave Elpidio Urre a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Coghlan FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Elpidio Urre hit a great ball. Rene Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Aguilar FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Peruanton to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Omar Eguzki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Ciceron got free with Omar Eguzki in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Claris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes, Rigoberto Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coghlan FC and the Aguilar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Coghlan FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Romero. After having played for 90 minutes, Jaime Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coghlan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Peruanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timoteo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Claris in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, one of Coghlan FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Aguilar FC a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albano Abaunza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Coghlan FC's Omar Eguzki. 1-3. If Jaime Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aguilar FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
