Nicasio Hustaz's late challenge caught a TANGO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Papagayos AFC's Generoso Rocendo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in TANGO FC's zone, Eusebio Chaime stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Satordi came out of the goal and Eusebio Chaime tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Bero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Cresencio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Sebastian Bittor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Presebal. Papagayos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Bittor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. TANGO FC's Sebastian Bittor got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TANGO FC's Braulio Satordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save TANGO FC from getting a goal against them. Marcos Bero struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Alfonso Presebal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TANGO FC. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Chaime was the one to do the kick off.
