Eleuterio Larra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lo Kapanga FC's zone, Marcos Caradaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Larra came out of the goal and Marcos Caradaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Mel in the 40th minute of play forced Lo Kapanga FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Larra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lo Kapanga FC's Eleuterio Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Mel in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Rincón AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tadeo Liher fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alonzo Resto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Lo Kapanga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Caradaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Roman Urdaspal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Liher's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Marcos Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Larra having to interfere. Maximo Casado came free in the 85th minute and tried to tip the ball over Eleuterio Larra, but to the joy of Lo Kapanga FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out.
