Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Club Atlético Marlboro's Severino Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Rosalio in the 7th minute of play. Ramon Nesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Ramiro Aresti managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Isaac Benino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Godfredo Lazcano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 29 minutes into the match, Hernando F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Nesto came free, but Godfredo Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Isaac Benino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Godfredo Lazcano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Florentino Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Leobardo having to interfere. Constantino Rosalio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Isaac Benino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Constantino Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Leobardo having to interfere. Hernando F.C.'s Cornelio Gutierrez got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Nesto to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Aristides Burni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hernando F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Marlboro the free kick. After 53 played minutes Hernando F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Burni. 54 minutes into the match, Hernando F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Aresti came free, but Godfredo Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Marlboro's Ramon Nesto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Lazcano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Constantino Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Leobardo having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Camilo Francesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hernando F.C. and the Club Atlético Marlboro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Camilo Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Severino Leobardo managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Hernando F.C.'s Cornelio Gutierrez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cornelio Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Severino Leobardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Isaac Benino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfredo Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Nesto in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Ramon Nesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Marlboro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Nesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ramon Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernando F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
